Fixed Dental Prosthetics:
Fixed dentures replace natural dental elements with definitive and permanent (fixed) works. These include veneers, casings (artificial substitutes for a single tooth) and bridges (substitutes for multiple dental elements) cemented to supporting pillars (teeth or roots), and are therefore fixed and cannot be moved by the patient.
Removable or classic prostheses
Removable dentures replace part or all of the dental arch and can be removed and put on by the patient for the purpose of performing daily hygiene. Removable or Classic prostheses can be:
– partial: fixed through some hooks to natural teeth or some attachments to teeth or implants, and usually have a metal skeleton from marine and skeletal name. The presence of metal attachments ensures a higher durability and better masticatory function.
– total: in the absence of teeth or natural roots, total resin dentures replace one or both dental arches relying solely on the mucosa and oss of the patient’s jaw.
Although the durability of these prostheses is compromised by the gradual resorption of the bone (as much as I may require repeated resuscitations by the dentist) and the biting force is less compared to other prosthetic solutions, total dentures are still an economical choice today and not much complicated to restore the patient’s oral function. The use of innovative materials (resin and ceramic) guarantees the functional and aesthetic consistency of the result.

Fixed prosthesis over implants
The implant technique involves the replacement of one or several dental elements or the entire dental arch through the surgical placement of titanium braces to which the teeth are permanently anchored. The use of these artificial braces integrated in the jaw bone makes it possible to maintain dental health natural that are still in the mouth (which would be reduced if bridges were placed) and guarantees full durability.

Dental prostheses fixed to natural teeth
Called the “bridge” in the colloquial language, this prosthesis is cemented into natural teeth, which act as a pillar. Metal-ceramic or zirconium-ceramic crowns are used for dentures on natural teeth. In natural teeth, which should support artificial tooth crowns, they are applied to the inner sides, between which the missing tooth will be inserted precisely.
All-On-6 prosthesis
All 6 implants are permanent prostheses that use 6 dental arch implants. In a single session – or in any case within 24 hours – the patient will have a temporary prosthesis, which will then be replaced, about 3 months after the intervention, with the final prosthesis.
All-On-8 prosthesis
All 8 dentures are composed of 8 dental implants for each dental arch. It is an optimal procedure for patients who have lost at least 80% of their natural teeth. Implants support a fixed (permanent) bridge with 12-14 teeth. First the implants will be inserted into the jaw, with a temporary prosthesis. A dental bridge or removable overlap prosthesis is then attached. The intervention lasts from 2 to 4 hours.
